Karma and Meditation

The Karma lives with us, the karma is part of our lives from the very moment of our birth to the moment of our death, because every time that we do something and even every time that we stop doing something, that generates karma, and you cannot avoid it in any way.

Of course that not all the karma that we generate is the same, there is a kind of karma that ties us or chains us to this life, and another kind of karma that liberates us of the reincarnation cycle.

The karma that chains us, known as Vishayakarma, has as fruits the misery and the lack of interior peace, while the karma generated by good actions or disinterested actions, know as the Sreyokarma allow us to reach the prosperity and the happiness of the soul, that it is much more than reaching the simple external happiness.

Every time that we face an activity with the desire of obtaining a certain result, this throws us into the arms of the desire, the greed and the ego demons, while only the pure actions that we do for love without taking into account the possible consequences of them, are the kind of actions that drive us little by little toward the illumination and the liberation.

That ones whose nature allows them to carry out this kind of unselfish activities, little by little realize that God provides them of all that they need and of all that confers them the interior peace. Another form of achieving the yearned interior peace is the meditation.

Perhaps you might ask yourself why? Why is the meditation so necessary?

Because the man always acts in two dimensions, the external dimension governed by the physical senses, and the internal dimension governed by the intelligence and the mind.

The internal conscience cannot move for itself, but rather needs the guide of the intelligence and the mind, that are the ones related with the external world, they are as the oxen that pull a carriage. These oxen are anxious to begin to walk, but to take us to the correct destination they should be educated, they should be indicated which is the route that takes us to the place to which wants to arrive the internal conscience. And these are the roads of the Truth, the Rightness, the Peace and the Love.

Then to liberate us from the enslaving karma, it is necessary to teach the intelligence and mind’s oxen the art of dragging the carriage of the internal conscience, and this is achieved by means of the practices of the meditation and the repetition of the name of God.

And the conscience, to be able to guide the oxen of the intelligence and the mind, must calm and control the conflicting desires that infest the mind, and this is achieved when we learn how to point our mind to a single direction.

When thanks to the meditation, the bewildered mind dives in the view and repetition of the name of the Lord, the Divine Splendor able to burn the wrong and to illuminate the happiness is manifested.

It is easy to understand the benefits of the meditation. Anyone that undertakes a task, knows that only when he concentrates his efforts toward a single point, he can achieve the desired success. Even the most insignificant tasks require concentration, and the power of an unshakable effort is so big, that even the worst difficulties surrender to it.

When we practice the meditation in the Supreme Being, the mind learns how to retire its attention from the material objects, and the life acquires a new splendor when we get aware of the Divine Essence that is inside us, and guides us into the state of Blessedness.

How sweet is a fruit? There’s no way to explain that appropriately, the only way of knowing that is to eat the fruit.

How good is the meditation? There’s no way of knowing the taste of its fruits until we don’t decide to experience it.

Karma Yoga – The Art of Living

The ancient book of Gita, which is the treatise on the living has led a great stress on the karma. Karma is defined as the action and its fruits. Ancient Hindu saints have believed that a mans life is the direct result of his karma. Good thoughts, words and deeds lead to good and happy life while bad thoughts, words and deeds lead a person to disaster. This has been postulated in the 18th century by Isaac Newton, who gave his law as “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
The branch of yoga that deals with karma is called as the karma yoga. Usually you are bound by the cravings and desires associated with your act but you can free yourself by doing the act but dissociating yourself from its consequences. This is the basic concept behind karma yoga and the person who follows this path is known as karma yogi. His behaviour is of indifference and while the world may think he is not interested, in reality he has mastered his desires and has developed awareness of the real significance of the events that occur around him.
This yoga involves doing your duty without any reservations but is free of the cravings of the results that are obtained from the act. This attitude is difficult to acquire because we are taught to hanker after the fruits of the labour and any failure to obtain the desired results leads you to frustration and negative thinking. Also, constant attachment to the results leads you to stress, competition and aggressiveness. This has led to increased incidences of stress, diabetes, depression, heart ailments and suicides and has led many youngsters to use drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. Hence following the teaching of Krishna in Gita, wherein he advises Arjun: “You are entitled to an action but not its fruits” will lead you to a happy and stress free life.
A karma yogi realizes this and hence he follows the path of detachment. But this does not make him dull or inefficient. On the contrary, he channelizes his entire energy into the tasks at hand with complete vigour as his energy is not dissipated and gives it a best shot. Hence the results of his actions are the best and he gets good fruits. He does not run after pleasure but pleasure follows him. This makes him a pleasant person to be around and thus enjoys success in his life.
Kevin Pederson is the webmaster of Yogawiz, that provides information on Yoga and Karma . Karma Yoga is another powerful yoga, where the action is done without expectation of fruits which leads to greater success and happiness in ones life
If you want to work your karma you can do it with the Karma CD (it’s in spanish)

Discover How Yoga Will Help You Reach Your Goals Part 1

Time is valuable and there are a number of successful methods for goal realization. Yoga will cross train your mind and body for maximum potential. Imagine being able to optimize your attitude in one hour, per day, or less. Every day, people attend Yoga classes for physical or mental health, and walk away with the tools, to be masters of their own destiny.

How is this possible? Regular attendance to Yoga classes, will result in a positive attitude adjustment for the student. Many of us walk around with a “perceived handicap.” We blame everything for our set backs and lack of opportunities. Society, your boss, and your family, are all easy targets to blame, for lack of opportunities.

It is true that age, financial status, gender, and ethnic background, are factors in success. However, these factors can all be overcome by working toward your goal on a daily basis, and taking life one-step-at- a-time. Remember, that if you think you situation is a disability, it will be.

How can Yoga do anything for you? For one thing, you will appreciate life to its fullest. You will stop wasting time, by letting daily opportunities go by. Many of us have opportunities, but we think it wont work, we dont have what it takes for success, or we lack the drive to carry a plan through.

Yoga and meditation teach you to supervise your mind. Your mind has been allowed to work against you. Much like a “back seat driver,” the mind is good at “second guessing,” fearing, doubting, and discouraging new ideas. The mind would prefer to stay in one place, and let the world go by. Leaving you in a deeper state of frustration, by worrying about making a mistake.

You have to cultivate a positive relationship with your mind, through practicing Yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. You can find all this, and much more, in your local Yoga class. All you have to do is make it a regular routine. Yoga classes are everywhere, from corporate health clubs to senior centers. Whether you practice before, or after, work is not important, and you will start to feel the mental benefits, right away.

Many Yoga students walk away from their first class feeling guilty, that it took so long to start. They anguish over the fact they procrastinated so long. However, the important part is to start and continue your Yoga practice. There is also a common feeling of euphoria during and after Yoga classes. The group support, classroom atmosphere, and the endorphins, will make your day a much better one.

Dear Yoga

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/yoga-karma/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Yug’ that means union. Union between matter and spirit, union between the microcosm and the macrocosm and union between men and God, although today it is often translated as the union of the body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga is more than 5,000 years old, and was created in India as a means to increase strength, flexibility and balance, but most of all as a means to reach God through meditation.

Yoga has a series of “Asanas” or body postures and breathing exercises that help to achieve control of the body and mind, while promoting health, strength, flexibility, and peace of mind.

Although many people think so, Yoga is not a religion, but a means to develop the body, the mind and the spirituality.

Many agnostic and atheist practice yoga because of its numerous benefits, or because they are seeking verifiable experience and personal transformation. And many christians, muslims, hindus and jews, practice some kind of Yoga meditation, in order to contact their higher consciousness, or commune deeply with the Lord.

And it is very important to distinguish spirituality from religion. You can be a spirituality giant and not be religious, or be very religious and not spiritual. Or you can be a giant in both, but spirituality or interest in the spiritual world and matters is not the same as religion.

And that’s why Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, size, shape, or faith. The Yoga “asanas” gently nurtures your body, stretch and tone the muscles, release pressure in the joints, and align and strengthen the spine. While the breathing exercises, also called “Pranayama” are meant to calm and relax the mind helping you get in contact with the deepest part of your inner self.

Many think that the Yoga is a means to let go stress and negativity, and you can really achieve those results utilizing Yoga, although the best way to get free from stress is learning to say “thy will be done”.

Do what you have to do, in the best way that you can do it. Do it with love and a disinterested attitude. Do not link your work with the results. Do your best and live the results in the hands of God, and this will release stress and anxiety from your life.

But if you like the idea of practicing Yoga, at the same time you will reach an improvement of your health, peace and harmony, and a greater awareness and connectivity to your true essence.

That’s why Yoga is highly recommended for people that live in a competitive and stressing work environment, for people that has health problems, and for any one that seeks spiritual illumination.

There are eight different kinds of yoga, one for each nature in mind, so you can choose the one that appeals you more, but they are all lead to the same end.

The eight different kinds of Yoga are:

  • Bhakti Yoga
  • Karma Yoga
  • Jñaña Yoga
  • Raja Yoga
  • Mantra Yoga
  • Laya Yoga
  • Tantra Yoga
  • Hatha Yoga
  • Some also talk about a ninth Yoga: Yogananda’s Yoga, the Kundalini Yoga or the Kriya Yoga but we will talk about them in other articles.

CHANGES IN PERCEPTION FOLLOWING YOGA PRACTICE

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/yoga-karma/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

Perception is sensation with added complexity due to factors such as memories and emotions. Yoga practice influences perception in three ways:(1) by increasing perceptual sensitivity, (2) by selectively `shutting out undesirable stimuli, and (3) by changing distorted perception, which occurs in schizophrenia.

Practicing yoga improved auditory and visual perception, by increasing sensitivity to various characteristics of the stimuli (e.g., intensity, frequency). Also, electrophysiological studies using evoked potentials have shown that during yoga practice the transmission of sensory information is facilitated.

These studies suggest several applications of yoga practice, in activities ranging from aviation to art. Interestingly, other studies suggest that yoga practice can also help to `shut off undesirable external stimuli, which is possibly due to cortical feedback connections to the sensory pathway.

It is also possible that through changes in cognitive factors yoga influences perception, so that even though the stimulus is `sensed it is not disturbing. This concept has been studied using yoga to help persons with chronic pain to willfully ignore it.

Finally, preliminary studies have shown that yoga practice may modify distorted perception in conditions such as schizophrenia.

Hence, there is sufficient research to support the idea that yoga practice influences perception in different ways, with varied applications.

Perception is the process of interpretation, organization, and elaborating the `raw materials of sensation. Sensation involves sensory receptors and pathways, whereas perception is a cognitive process.

The actual perception of a sensation depends on factors such as what has been learned, memories, and emotions.

It is also important to remember that while perception usually refers to sensory stimuli, this definition can be extended to include the perception of situations. Recordings of middle latency auditory evoked potentials (AEP-MLRs) have shown that the practice of ujjayi pranayama modifies the AEP-MLRs components in two ways.

A specific component (the Na wave) has reduced latency and increased amplitude during pranayama practice.

These results suggest that this practice facilitates the processing of auditory information at mesencephalic and diencephalic levels. A similar result was also seen during the practice of meditation on the syllable Om, where subjects who had more than ten years of meditation experience, showed an increase in the Na wave amplitude and a decrease in its latency while mentally repeating (Om).

No such effect was seen when the same subjects mentally repeated `one, during a control session, for comparison.

These electrophysiological data are corroborated by neuropsychological studies. Previous studies on meditation have shown significant changes in perception, attention and cognition

Brown and Engler in 1980, reported that meditators were found to be more sensitive to subtle aspects of color and shading of the Rorschach test inkblots, than they had been before meditation.

Two studies on the Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency have shown that perceptual sensitivity is not restricted to subtle aspects of the stimulus alone, as detection of a high frequency flickering stimulus was found to improve following yoga training.

A study on the degree of a visual geometric illusion, based on Müller-Lyer lines showed that a combination of focusing and defocusing yoga visual exercises reduces optical illusion more than focusing alone.

These studies were conducted on adult subjects with varying durations of yoga training. It was reported in a recent study on Critical Flicker Fusion Frequency and optical illusion on children who practiced yoga for a shorter duration of 10 days that there was also a significant improvement following the practice of yoga.

To perceive an optical illusion with minimal error and for accurate depth perception the spatial component of visual perception is necessary. The decrease in the degree of optical illusion perceived over a short period would be mainly due to cognitive judgmental factors, but not retinal or cortical factors as generally understood.

The cognitive judgmental factors involve the way in which the subject interprets incoming visual information based on experience, hypothesis and strategies of judgment. Hence the training through yoga to focus and defocus might have influenced the cognitive judgmental factors of the subjects, to significantly reduce the degree of optical illusion perceived.

Critical flicker fusion frequency (CFF), on the other hand, assesses the temporal component of perception of a visual stimulus. The increase in CFF following yoga could be attributed to the effects of yoga reducing physiological signs of stress, as CFF was found to be lower during specific stressors, such as food and water deprivation.

This showed that both spatial and temporal components of visual perception are modified following yoga practices. Hence the electrophysiological data as well as the visual, neuropsychological studies cited above have shown that yoga practice improves diverse aspects of auditory and visual stimuli in normal volunteers.

An interesting difference in auditory perception (based on AEP-MLRs) were also seen in congenitally blind children and adults compared to those with normal sight. The changes suggested improved auditory perception which could be a compensatory mechanism of auditory sensation in the presence of poor vision.

The effect of yoga has been observed on the perception of situations. Examples of a change in the way persons perceive situations was observed in two separate groups of subjects.

A study on 69 aged persons (above 60 years of age), staying in an old age home, showed that after 6 months of yoga practice there was a reduction in their feelings of depression, based on the Geriatric Depression Scale suggesting a favorable change in the wy they perceived their circumstances.

Another study on ten patients with breast cancer (stage 2 and 3), showed reduction in depression and anxiety (using Becks Depression Scale, Spielbergers State and Trait Anxiety Inventory), after practicing yoga for 6 months.

Hence yoga can probably have positive effects on both sensory perception and on the way situations or circumstances are perceived.

Finally, there may be more ways of perceiving the world than we know about. As the renowned sensory neurophysiologist, Vernon B. Mountacastle said: “Each of us lives within…the prison of his own brain. Projecting from it are millions of fragile sensory nerve fibers, in groups uniquely adapted to sample the energetic states of the world around us: heat, light, force, and chemical composition.

That is all we ever know of it directly; all else is logical inference”. Yoga may allow an advanced practitioner to develop `siddhis or special powers, which may hence allow such a person to have a different, possibly `expanded perception of the world.

BHAKTI YOGA

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/yoga-karma/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

Bhakti yoga, or devotional yoga, is the most natural path for those who are dominantly seeking emotional fulfillment and well being. The “bhakta” usually practices meditation by visualizing, thinking and feeling that the Lord is sitting or standing before him. The bhakta pours out his heart’s love , adoration, and shares his deepest thoughts and concerns with the Lord until a continual flow of awareness moves between devotee and his or her beloved Lord. This continuous flow of love and life force brings about a superconscious state of awareness which is generally called a mood, or bhava.

Generally, in this form of meditation – bhakti meditation – there is awareness of relationship, or twoness . The devotee is aware of the Lord and of his own being, and of the relationship between the Lord and the devotee. Sometimes, however, the devotee loses self-consciousness and is aware only of the Lord. Also, at times the bhakta experiences that the Lord’s spirit, or consciousness, moves into the devotee, infilling and indwelling him.

Both in the mood of twoness and in the experience of oneness you are transformed: your character is improved. And, periods of higher consciousness come more frequently. With even greater development, the aspirant who does bhakti meditation lives in a sense of permanent relationship with his divine Beloved!

This permanent relationship is not a static thing. It develops into one exciting dimension of love after another. These relationships are ever-new and ever-refreshing and continue to delight the bhakti yogi throughout life.

The bhakta, also, because of the ease of the mood relationship, is given special ability to experience the deep samadhis and other high states of awareness which other yogis focus upon.

Benefits of Chair Yoga – Part 4

Chair Yoga can easily work in harmony with most physical rehabilitation prescriptions. Many physical therapists have knowledge of Yoga or are teachers of Yoga. Many doctors, physical therapists, and medical professionals recommend Yoga to patients who are making a “come back.”

Yoga gives these patients the strength to move ahead, when many would be discouraged. The comebacks that I have personally witnessed are inspiring to me as a Yoga teacher. Over time, I have seen come backs from strokes, heart attacks, and car accidents.

It touches me that they thanked me for teaching them Yoga or Chair Yoga. The courage to go on came from within their minds, but Yoga became a significant part of their lives. As a Yoga teacher the inspiration was mutual and made me feel helpful. After all, being of help, and being appreciated, are prime motivations for teachers of any subject.

Muscle tone is a result of stretching and flexing any muscle group. Active muscles display themselves on anybody that chooses to use them. This is also a good way to relieve oneself of anxiety, stress, tension, and prevent depression. Like the other benefits, previously mentioned, this results in whole body health. A healthy body does, indeed, compliment a healthy mind.

For those clients who are confined to a chair, it is wise to include some form of a weight bearing, or weight resistance, exercise program. For those who can stand, Chair Yoga is another weight bearing exercise that will stimulate bone building.

With progressive weight resistance, you use free weights or machines, but with Yoga you bear your own body weight. The end result of these exercise programs would be increased bone density and prevention of Osteoporosis.

Seniors spend more time alone, than any other age group. Sometimes, we all need a little solitude, but too much solitude can lead to depression, in some of us. Living life like a monk is not for everyone.

Chair Yoga classes offer a social activity that helps to stimulate the mind and body in a positive way. This becomes an uplifting activity that participants look forward to. Regular attendance, and socializing in Chair Yoga classes, is a healthy activity that leads to building strong relationships.

It also exposes seniors to the many activities that are going on within the community center. Participants of chair Yoga classes are exposed to whole health and gain a nutritional education as a member of a senior, community, or wellness center.

Lastly, all participants in Chair Yoga classes learn to relax and quiet the mind, through breath awareness, meditation, stage-by-stage relaxation, a combination, or another method. The end result being that these Yoga students can control their minds, focus on the good things in life, and prevent depression.

Querido Yoga

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/yoga-karma/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

Reincarnation and Regressive therapy or Past Lives Therapy

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/yoga-karma/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

What are and what can you expect from past lives regressions

reincarnation, regressive therapy, past lives therapy

PAST LIVES THERAPY

Among all the new therapy forms that exist, there is one that is particularly interesting, the regressive therapy, transpersonal therapy, or past lives therapy. The regressive therapies are ways of accessing to the subconscious knowledge of past lives.

Before being born we are fully aware of our previous lives, of what we learned and of what we lack to experience and to learn, and although when being born we forget all this, before being born we use that knowledge to choose the country, the race, the social condition, the parents and all that we need to continue advancing in our spiritual road.

The regressive therapy works with the spiritual emergency situations, that is to say with those situations in which a person begins to feel uncomfort with the life that he is living. In that cases a situation of spiritual imbalance takes place.

When a regression to past lives is carried out, the individual is taken to a modified state of conscience from which he can be connected with his past.

The simplest question that anyone that knows that the regressive therapies exist is: What’s the use of knowing about the past?

And the answer is that much of what happens to us today, many of the conflicts that we cannot solve, have origin in previous lives as consequence of the karma and of our need of spiritual evolution.

Each one of our lives is like a stay in a school, where we have the opportunity to learn and to progress, or where we should return if we don’t learn the lesson.

When we face certain situations that we are not capable to overcome, they come to us again and again, until we can learn the corresponding lesson. And for this reason, since much of what we live today is already the repetition of situations lived in previous incarnations, if we know this information, we have more possibilities to solve the topic in this life.

Of course that many people face the reincarnation or the past lives regressions topic as a mere curiosity, but in fact, the regressive therapies are an opportunity for the spiritual growth, to be able to know us better, and to have a better life.

The regression therapy is in fact a therapy that involves the dense physical body, the astral or emotional body, the mental body and the spiritual body, it is a holistic way of healing.
WHAT IT FEELS

By means of the past lives regressions, you can return to a moment in time previous to your birth, or to your first year’s memories, and even to memories belonging to your gestation moments.

For the above said the regressions imply to return to experiences already had, and to live them almost as if they were happening right now.

With the regression therapy, we leave the here and now in search of the blocked memories, that can help us to find the answer and solution of the present problems.

The first time that is carried out a regression therapy, the fellow generally finishes asking or wondering to itself: Is this real, or did I simply invent everything?

The reiteration of the regressions, usually brings more security and increases the capacity of relating the experienced with what one lives today, and in that way you can diminish the fears and the obsessions.
THE UNPLEASANT

Of course that not all that has happened to us before will be pleasant!

But the only important thing when facing unpleasant memories of past lives, it is to know that the karma makes us responsible for what will happen with our life from now on, and although we are those that should pay for our errors of the past, in no way we should feel responsible for that we did before.

All the psychology works with the idea that the unconscious conserves a lot of traumatic information that can modify and improve our existence, if we can find the way of bringing it to the conscience, and a regressive therapy, work over the same supposition.
THE CONFLICTS

Will a regressions therapy allow us to have a life without conflicts?
The life without conflicts doesn’t exist, the problems arise every day and they are unavoidable.

For that reason the idea is not to carry out the past lives regressions as a way of living without problems, but rather the regressive therapy can sometimes help us to solve problems, and sometimes to cohabit with them without becoming bitter.

When a person is relaxed and enjoying life, it doesn’t question neither wonders the reasons why he is living in that situation, we only do it when we are sad, depressed, frustrated, aching, grief-stricken, etc.

Only when we suffer we question ourselves and ask to ourselves: why is this happening to me? and in the moment that this question appears, it is when it arises our learning and spiritual growth possibility.
HOW DOES THE PAST INFLUENCE THE PRESENT

For the law of the karma, the life that we presently live, is the consequence of what we did in the past, while presently we go sowing the seeds of what will happen to us in the future.

Many of the conflicts lived in previous lives, are manifested again as phobias and fears of all type, illnesses, addictions, depressions, anxiety, nutritious disorders, problems to get couple, and all type of emotional and family conflicts.

The regression therapy enlarges our capacity to understand the present based on the events of the past, and lowers our blame feelings and anxiety levels.
THE WHY OF THE PAST LIVES THERAPY

It’s not necessary to question yourself why you should practice a past lives regression, because as I have commented before it can simply be for curiosity. Who feels blocked or surpassed by the daily problems, can obtain good profit from a regressive therapy.

Those who want to know more about themselves, about what you have experienced in the past, and the reasons why on the present life your are living what you are living, a past lives therapy or a series of past lives regressions, can be highly illustrative.
THE RISKS AND THE FEARS

Many people fear to carry out a past lives regression because they have mistaken ideas regarding what can happen to them during a session, and for this reason it is convenient to highlight some points.

The subject of a past lives regression, never loses his conscience, he knows where he is and with whom he is speaking, although at the same time he is living previous incarnations situations

At the same time that you listen to the voice that guides you in a regression, the sounds of the daily life are listened too.

The fellow is in an Alpha state, a modified conscience state that takes place as consequence of the relaxation, and inside his mind he can see images as if he was dreaming or he can imagine things just as he does on any day.

Depending on what is revived, you can feel emotions, but you don´t suffer, or at least not more than what you suffer when you go to the cinema and watch a drama, since you know that you are not living what you are reviving. You know that you are related with the history but you live it as a spectator. On the other hand, the emotions that the regressions generate are always healers.

The deep levels of the hypnosis are not used, because in order to obtain profit from the experience, the patient should be conscious

A past lives regression is carried out by means of a relaxation with guided visualizations

You can use the Alpha sound or relaxing music, but it is not required any other thing to condition the atmosphere.

The person can decide to finish with the exercise in any moment

The therapist guides the person through his memories so that the fellow is who finds the answers and the healing that he is looking for

Not all the sessions are equally developing, but they provide you with the base for future sessions from which you will obtain more understanding
THE REINCARNATIONS

Nobody knows how much time it takes to return to this life, this is different for each one and it has to do with the road and the spiritual evolution of each one.

The spiritual road is a groupal road, we carry out our spiritual evolution accompanied by a series of souls that evolve together with us and among which karmic debts and special likeness exist.

Sometimes one comes as another person’s son, and in the following life he can return as father or as couple or friend, with the same sex or with different sex, but in some way the relationship is perpetuated in time, giving us again and again the opportunity to learn and to evolve.

And this is this way because the love doesn’t know the barrier of the death, when you love someone, you will find him again and again in this life and in the following ones, in this dense physical plane and in the superior planes.
THE REGRESSIVE THERAPY

The tool with which are carried out the past lives regressions, is the relaxation.

The relaxation allows to enter in a state of cerebral frequency that is specially suitable for the free associations of the unconscious.

This way, diving in the unconscious, you can end up discovering the unresolved traumatic episodes, that produce physical tensions and pathologies on life after life.

And the word regression means textually to return, not necessarily implies to return to a previous life, it can simply be to return to an experience in the first years of this life, to an intra-uterine experience, or something much more recent in time. Our subconscious is in fact who decides what is its that we need to remember in order to heal.

The regressions therapies embrace the human being as a whole, that is to say that it is a holistic boarding (that considers the physical body, the emotional body, the mind and the soul) reason why it can be registered within the Transpersonal Psychology, but not within the religions or dogmatic beliefs systems.

And as it is not a religion, the patient can practice it which ever are his spiritual beliefs.

Some people achieve their benefits with only a couple of sessions, but an entire series of regressions is generally needed to achieve results. Any way, this probably is one of the techniques with which quicker results are achieved.
WHAT YOU SEE ON A REGRESSION

There isn’t a unique answer for this question, since the regression experiences are extremely varied, but we can say that the most frequent experiences imply:

to get in contact with spiritual guides

to remember past lives

to remember things happened in the first years of this life

to remember things that happened while our mother was gestating us, like for example what was our parents thought about our arrival to the world

to make contact with died people

to heal

to see our body from the outside

to revive last deaths and this way lose the fear to the death

to say goodbye to people died with which we had left pending things
CONTRAINDICATIONS

In fact there aren’t universally accepted conclusions about who should and who should not undergo to a regression, but the common sense indicates that they should be avoided by:

The small children

The minor that don’t carry out the exercises accompanied by their parents

The pregnant women

The psychotic and people that suffer from altered mental states

Those that have cardiovascular problems

The epileptic ones
ARE THE MEMORIES REAL?

There are many that affirm that the regressive therapies memories are nothing more than fantasies guided by the therapists, and that in fact we remember things that we never did.

By the middle of the eighty, a great polemic was generated in the United States, when a wave of people began to recover memories of infantile sexual abuses at the hands of their parents.

The lawyers made very good business with this, but many honest accused parents grouped and denounced that all that information was only garbage created in the mind of the patients by the therapists. That is to say that things that never happened where remembered as real.

There are no doubts that the mind has an incredible capacity to retain information along time, and that this information is not affected by the death of people, since the mind is not housed in the brain, neither it belongs to the physical body, but rather it is a body with its own identity, that is in a superior level of existence, and that is denominated Manas.

But it is also true that incompetent, dogmatic or hipper-ideologic therapists, can guide the creation of complete scenarios that never existed.

As consequence of this, today there are legions of people that believe to remember many sad things that never happened, and being in all the cases things supposedly carried out IN THIS LIFE and not in past lives.

In fact all therapy leans on in two fundamental beliefs

the patient must think that the therapist can help him

the therapist must think that he is able to help the patient

These two beliefs are in fact more important than the information that arises in the regressions to past lives.

In what concerns to the memories induced by incompetent or unscrupulous therapists, the Spanish Association of Regressive Techniques named Anatheoresis has said that the regressive techniques are without a doubt among the most useful therapies in the treatment of people with psychological and/or organic conflicts but in order to achieve the benefits, the therapists should take care of not inculcating any belief to the patients, and not to carry out the exercises with unconscious people.

Many investigators believe that in fact more than with past incarnations, we connect ourselves with memories present in the collective unconscious. Others believe that in all the regression sessions, we can meet with a percentage of real memories blended with fantasies, but the important thing it is not if the memories where real or fantasies, but that our unconscious through those experiences, is expressing himself in such a way, that you can derive healing effects from the sessions.

Neither it is important with which life the patient is connected, and in general terms it is not possible to consciously choose with which life we want to connect ourselves. Again it will be our inner mind, the one that will guide us wisely to the memories or fantasies that we need for our spiritual growth and emotional unblocking.

Concluding the regressive therapies should not be approached as a mere entertainment that can be carried out in any way, but rather they should be approached seriously as a means of personal improvement and spiritual growth.

If you want to carry out your own experiences without running the risk of being induced by inexpert professionals you can do it with the Terapia de vidas pasadas CD

Soul mates of your past lives, your present and your future

love, couple, ideal couple, looking for couple, soul mate

THE SOUL MATES OF YOUR PAST LIVES

We are here in the earth for the purpose of growing and developing our consciousness, and some of the people that we meet on our lives are more conducive to growth than others.

This is the main reason why we must choose carefully or companions and couples, because the impact is most powerful in a marriage relationship, where the union should be founded over the capacity to help each other growth, and a shared purpose in life.

As souls we experience our spiritual growth in consciousness through a series of lifetimes on the earth, in companionship with a particular group of souls, with whom we have close personal relationships.

Feeling a very strong attraction to someone we just met is a sign that we have found a soul mate, someone that we have loved before on a previous life, and this covers all kind of relationships and degrees of love.

Often, we are attracted to a particular person as our romantic couple, because we have had such a relationship at least once before. And marriage relationship is one great avenue for development, although this is not to say that important spiritual growth is impossible without marriage.

The essential nature of the soul mates is that those two people that have loved each other before, compliment each other. What one lacks, the other tends to bring out, and vice versa. And for their souls to grow, they only need to be themselves to help each other at the physical, mental, and spiritual levels.
THIS LIFE’S SOUL MATE

But to attract your soul mate you need first to work on your own soul, and this involves giving up your ego.

Instead of looking for the person that’s going to make you happy for ever, you must have a willingness to love your couple in a way that no one else can, and this will attract your soul mate as the honey attracts the bees.

Your love must be based on who you and your couple are at the soul level, and not on what you do, how much money you have, what you look like, how you think (or any other of the myriad of advices that love magazines give). You need to be able to perceive what’s lovable in everyone, without pre-requisites.

I think that many of those that can’t find their soul mates, know at a subconscious level the ego sacrifices which must be made, in order to bring their soul mate into their life, and that’s why they avoid the encounter.

There’s a great quote that I would like to share with you, because I agree with it:

“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice.
It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved”

William Jennings Bryan

A soul mate is a person with whom you can communicate on the deepest level. When you meet that someone, that can touch and warm your deepest level, who just loves what you are and not what you do, you have found a soul mate.

But not everyone marries a soul mate. You can find a soul mate and only be his best friend, because as a matter of fact, the soul doesn’t care about sex or marriage, all that it wants is the company and the help to grow, that other like minded soul can give him.
YOUR FUTURE SOUL MATE

I know that all around us there’s a quest for THE soul mate, but forget that idea, there isn’t ONLY ONE soul mate in the world for each one of us, there are MANY!

And you can even start a soul mate relationship on this life, working both of you over your egos, and all that you need to accept, is that you both are lovable for what you are, that you are different, and that is precisely this difference what attracted you.

It could be terribly boring to get married with a mirror of your self. And it’s not so terrible to accept that you are different from one another, when you can realize that you are also different from EVERYONE ELSE, that you are both unique and meant to be happy together.

If you are single and would like to find your soul mate, once you become the person you should become-self-sufficient, self-confident and self-worthy-you will open start broadcasting the energy that will attract to you your soul mate.

Finding the soul mate seems to be everyone’s major pastime lately. But even if you find it, that does not guarantee a good marriage, you two still have to work together over your egos in order to grow your relationship. No one is suited exactly in the beginning.

And remember that this life is your future’s past life, you can start your story of love today, and enjoy it life after life from now on. Start being someone’s soul mate, and then you will find that the person that you love, is also YOUR soul mate.

If you need help to do it, you can use my CD: “Pareja Ya!” that’s a CD created to help you attract your soul mate.
